Gender and sex are not the same thing. This issue is not well enough understood for government to act on it. Gender is psychological, sex is biological, gender shouldn't be treated like sex and sex shouldn't be treated like gender.

We also just had a large amount of parties at the time that remained relevant. The chances of splitting the vote were sorta much higher, so I’d say that him winning wasn’t as much of an independent run as it was a minority party win. Though, it remained impressive all the same.

Conservatives sure spend a lot of time worrying about where people urinate. One of the big arguments they made against the Equal Rights Amendment was that “men and women will have to share restrooms”. That would have been fine with me, if it meant equal pay, but alas, it was not to be.
Purportedly, their reason is to protect woman from sexual assault. That being the case, are they planning on banning men from department store stockrooms, book stores, buses, law offices, tourist sites, and dorm lounges? Those are all places where I have been sexually assaulted.

Equity is equal outcome for everyone regardless of merits, basically communism. Equality is what America is founded on, not equity. People with more merits deserve to live a better life than thos without merit. People should be able to consume from society according to what they can produce for society.
