USAID invested $310 million of taxpayer money in 2016 to fund a Palestinian cement factory project run by Sanad company.
Sanad Construction Resources Company is publicly traded on the Palestine Stock Exchange (PEX).
The company reportedly benefited from cement purchases made as foreign aid by USAID, UNRWA, and the UN.
The article suggests this cement supply was used in the construction of Hamas tunnels and military infrastructure.
Sanad's executive head, Loai Quwas, indicated the project had been in planning since 2013.
The cement factory project was characterized as a private venture with alleged insufficient oversight.
The article claims USAID would later purchase cement from the same company it helped fund.
This circular flow of money is described as potentially resembling a money-laundering scheme.
The article questions the lack of accountability in how U.S. tax dollars were allocated to this project.
The situation raises concerns about inadvertent support of terrorist infrastructure through aid programs.

Are you KIDDING ME?? "$310 million of taxpayer money to start a Palestinian cement factory project" and it ends up helping Hamas?! This is beyond incompetence - this is criminal!
The situation is more complex. Infrastructure projects in Gaza have always been dual-use. The real question is how to provide basic construction materials while preventing military applications.

Found the deep state apologist! They KNEW what they were doing. "circular flow of money seems very much like a money-laundering scheme" - its right there in black and white!!
Has anyone verified this Sanad company's ownership structure? Looking at their PEX filings might show some interesting connections... 🤔
This connects to the larger pattern. Check out what happened with the Afghanistan reconstruction funds - same lack of oversight, same results. I'll post links when I'm not on mobile
Let's look at the actual timeline:
2013: Project planning starts
2016: USAID funding
2023: Hamas tunnels discovered
Where was the oversight during these 10 years??

My son's school can't afford new textbooks but we can send $310M to build terrorist tunnels?!? Make it make sense! 🤬
@PeskySwanTranshumanist3hrs3H
Remember when they said Trump was crazy for wanting to audit foreign aid? Not so crazy now huh
