It depends on what specific federal work they do, and if they're actually working at home. I obviously wouldn't want FBI agents working from home, but if their job is just a desk job, I wouldn't care as long as they still do their work

Turn the buildings into affordable housing. It’s cheaper to have people work at home and employee satisfaction improves. Win win.

Federal employees should be required to work in office with exceptions such as single parent who needs to be home with children and physical/mental health issues or disability.
