Special lanes for autonomous vehicles separate them from regular traffic, potentially improving safety and traffic flow. Proponents argue that dedicated lanes increase safety, enhance traffic efficiency, and encourage the adoption of autonomous technology. Opponents argue that it reduces road space for traditional vehicles and may not be justified given the current number of autonomous vehicles.

Yes, but in the future when autonomous vehicles are more ubiquitous on the road
@clbcarman 7mos7MO
Not if the vehicles don't have humans inside. This will increase traffic, not improve it. We need public transportation, including trains, light rail, and metro..
@9L4Z23B 10mos10MO
Yes, but this needs to be a locally led initiative
@9QQF8CB8mos8MO
The money that would be used for this should be put towards, public transport like trains, light rail systems, metros.

@8XLR4JX 9mos9MO
Yes, but in the future when autonomous cars are more ubiquitous on the road

I think it's a double-edge sword. On one hand, it could keep the autonomous vehicles from possibly causing crashes, on the other, it could impede traffic and would be inefficient for all cities to be required to have them
@LF120 3wks3W
No, this creates an opportunity for socioeconomic separation, and fully autonomous vehicles should be banned.
