Nebraska Teen Who Used Pills to End Pregnancy Gets 90 Days in Jail
This is so backward. This is what happens when you restrict abortion rights.

When this occurred, abortion was legal in Nebraska up until 20 weeks.

This occurred pre-Dobbs and has nothing to do with abortion “rights” but other than that, great point.
@MereLobbyDemocrat2yrs2Y
Right to Life has been working had, especially in the red states, to put up barriers to quick, safe, early-term abortions.
@W3lfareCatRepublican2yrs2Y
Good.
Also, still not relevant to this story. At all.
@MereLobbyDemocrat2yrs2Y
So you don’t want access to safe, early abortions, but you’re also upset about situations like this which can happen with those impediments.
That’s cognitive dissonance. Unless you’re advocating the force on women of the religious belief that a zygote is the same as a baby.

Let's make it clear. I do not want access to abortion in any capacity, and any attempt to allow it is to concede that human life is only valuable if the mother of said life believes it to be worthy of existing. Yes, I am advocating that the truth of the personhood of zygotes be enforced on everyone, and that society offer them the same protections against unjust slaughter as everyone else. Zygotes are human beings created in the image and likeness of God, and your appeals to religious tolerance and moral relativism are not convincing to anyone (even yourself). Religious beliefs can be objectively true and it is completely nonsensical to prevent government from enacting laws based on this truth merely because it is religious in nature.
