He’s super smart and articulate, and he actually knows how to talk about policy in a way that makes sense. But I do worry that he’s a bit too centrist and corporate-friendly—Michigan needs a fighter who will take on big industries and push for real progressive change. That said, he’d be miles better than any Republican, so if he’s the nominee, I’d back him. Still, I hope we get a strong progressive in the race to push the conversation leftward.
