Chinese President Xi Jinping has strongly criticized the use of tariffs, stating they damage the multilateral trading system and disrupt the world economic order. His remarks come amid ongoing trade tensions, particularly between China and the United States, where tariffs have been used as a tool in economic disputes. Xi emphasized that such measures undermine the legitimate rights and interests of all countries. He made these comments while hosting Azerbaijan's president in Beijing, highlighting China's commitment to open dialogue and cooperation. The statements signal China's continued opposition to protectionist trade policies.

We are being harmed most by the tariffs. Adding more and more reciprocal tariffs is just going to keep making our own situation worse. We aren't the only country in the world like many like to believe

Our (American) tariffs pose a great danger to foreign relations and small businesses within the United States. Without the ability to gather and maintain our own natural resources or to have the factories to produce our own products, we will slowly kill off industry that cannot afford to buy at tariff prices, and then subsequently sell that final product back at a much higher price.
