Tipping used to be about rewarding exceptional service. Now it feels like a mandatory tax. Maybe it’s time to bring some accountability back to businesses.

Why not just let the free market decide if tipping is necessary? If businesses paid fair wages, we wouldn't need to guilt customers into subsidizing salaries.

Tipping culture is a symptom of a broken system. Let’s push for a living wage so workers don’t have to rely on unpredictable tips to make ends meet.
