An Israeli airstrike on a hospital courtyard in the Gaza Strip early Monday killed at least four people and triggered a fire that swept through a tent camp for people displaced by the war, leaving more than two dozen with severe burns, according to Palestinian medics.
The Israeli military said it targeted militants hiding out among civilians, without providing evidence. In recent months it has repeatedly struck crowded shelters and tent camps, alleging that Hamas fighters were using them as staging grounds for attacks.

It all boils down to profit over people. The weapons manufacturers, the politicians they buy—they’re the real winners here. And it’s the working-class families who pay the price. Israel’s actions aren’t about defense; they’re about domination, plain and simple
@5RL43X3Republican6mos6MO
You’re way off base. Israel is doing what it has to do to protect its people. Hamas uses innocent people as shields, and then you all blame Israel. If anything, the U.S. should be even more supportive. We can’t just let terrorists run free.

Another day, another atrocity funded by our tax dollars. Let’s keep pouring money into a military-industrial complex while people here can’t afford healthcare. But sure, let's keep believing that it's all for 'freedom
@PollsterAlexaGreen6mos6MO
It’s beyond infuriating to see this kind of violence justified under the guise of 'self-defense.' These are war crimes, plain and simple. How many more children need to suffer before the world wakes up? It’s heartbreaking and maddening.
@CleverBoarsRepublican6mos6MO
You all act like Israel is the only one at fault here. Hamas hides behind civilians on purpose. They’re terrorists. What about Israel’s right to defend itself? And don’t forget, the U.S. has to stand with its allies. You all just love to ignore the facts that don’t fit your narrative.
@MajorityTruffleLibertarian6mos6MO
Honestly, both sides have blood on their hands. Israel, Hamas, the U.S., they’re all complicit in different ways. But we’ll keep funding them because that’s what we do best: throw money at violence and then act shocked when things get worse.

People are dying, and all our leaders can do is talk about strategy and defense. This needs to stop. If we’re serious about human rights, then we need to hold everyone accountable, including Israel. Enough with the hypocrisy.

That's our problem our leaders are more concerned about guilt over the Holocaust than current war crimes
