I agree with you. More to the point, Trump remains the former president who is didn’t destroy the country. Kamala remains the current VP leading us into WW3, bankruptcy and totalitarianism. She failed to counter that narrative.

I don't remember him doing so. Then again, they didn't really let him have a campaign rally-like monologue. He was mostly answering questions on policies and in general material of substance, which surprised me.
