Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is expected to officially announce her running mate sometime Tuesday morning, followed by a campaign video that will be released before their Philadelphia rally the same day, according to multiple people familiar with the selection process. Politico first reported the campaign's plans.
Monday night, Harris had not made a final decision, according to a source familiar with the process. Her team has printed multiple versions of campaign signs for Tuesday night's rally with her name alongside the different top contenders to be prepared for whomever she chooses.
At some point Tuesday, Harris will call all the finalists to inform them of her decision before it's made public.
Harris met Sunday in Washington with at least three finalists: Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona and Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota. After the running-mate announcement, which is expected to include several online components, including a video, Harris and her newly minted election partner plan to launch a multistate tour with a rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.

Forget the no matter who. Harris has my support right up to the choice of VP. If it is Shapiro.. then no. He is too close to AIPAC, and I notice AIPAC has been very successful in manipulating the press and the government. Evidence : we have become genocide supporters in the eyes of the world. America has never before been a genocide supporter.. both sides and government somehow ignore the popular will.. why would they do that - who are they serving?

Antisemitism has no place in the Democratic party. Walz and Kelly have similar positions on the Gaza conflict -- as does Harris for that matter -- but you single out Shapiro for some reason...hmmm, very curious. I wonder why that would be?

The best thing about the non stop KH coverage is there is ZERO mention of 'he who will not be named'.
And you know it's driving him nuts!!

I hear they're delivering ketchup to Mar-A-Lago in tanker trucks.

The Republicans should have dumped Trump and picked Nikki Haley. This was a huge mistake.

Harris has spend her life fighting crime in America. Running against Trump is merely another example of her fighting crime.

Kelly makes the most sense, IMO, his resume is unmatched, he brings AZ, he brings Independents, he puts Harris on offense on the border (especially against Trump killing the bi-partisan border legislation). But, Shapiro is the statistical choice, for PA.
That said, I'm fine with any of the proposed candidates. You should be too - they are all great people, and we need to stay unified.
This election is it. Either our democracy survives, or it doesn't. Vote blue, no matter who.
Harris has half a dozen campaign stops this week across the country.
Trump has one.
That’s ok, old man. She’ll take it from here.

Sources have said it's now down between Gov. Tim Walz and Gov. Josh Shapiro. I think in the end it's Walz as Shapiro brings too much baggage with his pro Israel views.
