RFJ Jr.'s campaign says.
"Yes, Mr. Kennedy met with President Trump on Monday to discuss national unity, and he hopes to meet with leaders of the Democratic Party as well. And no, he is not dropping out of the race. He is the only pro-environment, pro-choice, anti-war candidate who beats Donald Trump in head-to-head polls," Press Secretary Stefanie Spear says.
A Trump spokesperson did not immediately respond for comment.
Former President Donald Trump met this morning in Milwaukee with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss the possibility of the independent candidate endorsing the Republican nominee, according to multiple people familiar with the huddle.
Asked about the meeting and a potential endorsement, Kennedy denied that he plans to drop out of the race.

"An endorsement by Kennedy, who hits double digits in some polls, would scramble the race for White House and give a boost to Trump."

Please stay in the race and take votes away from Biden.
Thank you RFK Jr.

If RFK Jr was really serious about all of the things Spear mentioned, he wouldn't waste time talking w/Trump about unity, since he's opposed to his stances on every one of those issues. Hopefully the Prez doesn't waste his time meeting with him.

The secret is he is actually vp. They were waiting for Bobby to get SS protection (which came after vp reveal) and for Trump to secure the nomination.
That’s my theory and if I’m wrong- Dems have an opportunity to recruit RFK jr as their Nominee and pull the Domcratic Base more toward the center
