They need to investigate the whole entire government because of all the things that they have done and we don't know. And they don't even know who in their group is who they say they are.

A US official serving as an agent of another country is shameful and the ambassador should be removed from office. I would be concerned if incidents like this continued to happen

As a member of government, one must not allow another government body to control and dictate one's decisions. This can be labelled as a form of espionage on the part of the foreign body and an attempt at influencing internal politics in favour of said foreign body.

I’m not sure people working with Cuba to promote Cuban interests are a priority at this point.

I’m more concerned about a much bigger communist country that is actively engaging in things in America that are an existential threat.

 @CharismaticRobin from North Carolina  commented…1yr1Y

Not surprising. The State Dept’s Foreign Service Institute employs Marxist instructors to teach "area studies and tradecraft" for Latin America. Far left ideology goes deeper than you think throughout the Federal government.

Members of the CIA were Presidents of Mexico. Do you remember when people started talking about the game Plague Inc before Covid took off, well get ready for Plague Inc again(things happening in China again). Also escalation in the Red Sea. They're getting ducks lined up.

to know someone who is higher up being accused of something horrible as a american citizen.

 @TwoPartyBob from Ohio  commented…1yr1Y

This is a disgraceful betrayal of the US by a former diplomat. He should be tried for treason and espionage.

 @MotivatedIcecream from Indiana  commented…1yr1Y

According to Wikipedia, he was a diplomat under every administration from Reagan’s 1st term in 1981 to G.W. Bush’s 1st term in 2002.

If someone believes they're serving a greater good, is it ever justifiable to betray one's country?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How does the idea of espionage within your own government challenge your trust in your country's leadership?

 @9HF6WPM from Wisconsin  commented…1yr1Y

I think that we need to have more thorough background checks and really make sure we aren't hiring double agents.

 @9HF6GTCfrom Florida  commented…1yr1Y

How could the US government be accused of serving as an agent of Cuba if he is can only focused on one particular country.
