I agree, because if a student would've found it who knows what the student could do with it. For example: fire a gun just to get the schools reaction as a practical joke, or they can be mentally ill and try to shoot him or herself.

Consider the example of airline pilots who are permitted to carry weapons on flights after extensive training. There have been no reported incidents of passengers gaining access to these firearms. What could be a potential countermeasure to ensure that a teacher's firearm is always secure and inaccessible to students?
