Why would we give an illegal immigrant in-state tuition prices while we tell the young adult that worked hard to get the grades to get into that school in that state that they have to pay a higher price? When you give to one group out of pity for their situation, you're telling all the other groups from the poor to the rich that that person is more important than them, that person is better than them, and that person deserves more. When you do that you create a hostile environment that breeds hate.

"Free" education isn't free, it's just paid for by our taxes, and this would put a heavy burden on tax payers. Truly free education would basically be enslaving teachers. All "free" education does it make it so that instead of the student paying for their college, the wealthier taxpayers pay for their college, which makes no sense, the student or their family should pay for their college.
