If you think murder is advantageous, then you would commit murder, which is exactly what some people do...that's why it is subjective. If morals were objective, as you keep suggesting, then everyone would think the same things, but obviously they don't.

If morality were purely subjective, you'd expect laws and social norms to be all over the place, but that's not the case. Across cultures, things like murder, theft, and lying are almost universally condemned. This points to a level of objectivity — or at least, a shared, intrinsic understanding of harm and fairness. Even in societies that never encountered each other, similar moral codes emerged. Why? Because survival and cooperation are tied to these principles, and perhaps there is something deeper at play than just "making it up as we go."
