I know there was very little reason to doubt the outcomes of elections, but with Russian interference and the oligarchy buying votes along with Citizens UNited, we are getting further and further from democracy.

Like I have said before, The electoral college is a large scam run by head honchos of the government in order to have a more "fair" process. This process is not fair at all and is easily influenced by money, or foreign influence. Examples of this are both the 2020 and 2024 elections where trump tried twice to buy votes. Once with failing to buy votes in Atlanta only to be convicted and almost impeached. Second with having Elon give out money FOR voting red, with even daily million dollar giveaways. The electoral college should be completely abolished, a election system based on the popular vote would do massively well. There would be a honest and confirmed voting process with ID verification along side checks into that identification to prevent fraud.

It the same. People will vote for who they believe will make the country better. I know both of those candidates are own by multi corporation companies that are trying to pass their policy while we blame the candidates.

I now understand it a lot more because it plays a big role in the election process of a candidate in an election. It is an easy and effective way for whoever wins takes it all.
