If wealth was spread out more evenly, how would that change your expectations for your future?

 @9HBRHWG from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Ideally, spreading out the wealth would alleviate some of the disparity we have in our current population, but unfortunately, if we do not fix the underlying issues, we would just be delaying what is currently happening.

 @9HBSG4BSocialist from Iowa  answered…2yrs2Y

It seems like that would have broad and difficult to predict effects on society more broadly, and I think that changes this would cause in how people interact, what the expectations of and by people are, and what motivates most people would affect me somewhat, but I am uncertain how this would materially affect me in the here and now. It seems like it would really depend on how this was actually structurally implemented, specifically in libertarian/anarchistic vs authoritarian dimensions.

 @9HBQVDR from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe it would be significantly better especially if it is being given to those of color.

How would the celebration of personal milestones differ in a society that values community contribution over individual wealth?

 @9KZPXXG from Nevada  answered…1yr1Y

The shift toward shared ownership might impact the way communities address mental health and wellness because it would influence social movements.

 @9LFMVZH from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I think in some cases it would help mental health because people would not be so stressed out.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

In your opinion, would widespread ownership create a more or less competitive economic environment? Why?

 @9H5CG8BIndependent from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

No. People deserve to own what they work for, and should pay for what they don't. All the natural resources and land of the Earth belong to humans because no one invented them, but no one should ever have to share what they create with someone else if they fairly compensate society throughout that process. This is my thinking behind Land Value Taxation. Pay a tax on the natural resources you are occupying, and keep what you earn.

If everyone owned part of the economy, do you think this would make people more responsible with their consumption and resources?

 @9S4TRLJ from Indiana  answered…11mos11MO

I feel like people wouldn’t really care as much, because some people would try really hard and others wouldn’t really care.

 @9HDBGWK from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, because they would still try to take other people's stuff and they would also just use all there stuff in one sitting.

 @9HDBBYH from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes because it would affect their share if other people weren't responisble.

 @9HND8PH from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9HNDC66Republican from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, local markets and stores should be supported as they are a major part of the economy and people's livelihoods.

Would you prefer living in a world where most companies are small and locally owned, rather than large and global?

 @9H6SY76 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

No, while small and local businesses are good, large businesses are able to initiate global affairs better. Though, there should be some restrictions.

 @9H6SWC8 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, but there are monopolies in many industries that should be broken up under existing anti trust laws. I prefer local businesses though.

 @9H9DG2G from California  commented…2yrs2Y

Yes, because I feel like everything would be cheaper and more people wouldn't have the same things.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How would you feel about living in a society where your success wasn't measured by wealth, but by your contribution to the community?

 @9HCQ5WW  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

As a potential future owner in the economy, what industry would you most like to revolutionize, and why?

 @9LFLYJG from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

I would like to revolutionize the farming industry. Since I am a vegetarian who formerly ate meat but after learning how animals are farmed, stopped supporting the farming industry. If we could sustainably and naturally take care of and consume animals the world would be a better place.

How would the spirit of entrepreneurship change if starting a business meant building a community asset?

 @9KLV4XD from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

On paper, it sounds great, but if everyone is in the same position, nobody is motivated to rise up. I think that the system should reward the successful and promote healthy competition, but it should also show mercy to the less fortunate. Instead of everyone being on the same level, our goal should be everyone being on the same upward trend.

 @9KLLM7G  from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

I think profit drives innovation, and making them community oriented would help reduce greed, but also slow progress.
