What would your school or community look like if every person's potential was fully supported?
@9JQBTW9Independent1yr1Y
There would be greater self-expression and more motivation / breakthroughs in individual intelligence. However, this would facilitate more fierce competition in the work force.
@9JTJSJB1yr1Y
If everyone was supported with what they wanted to do, they would get good at it, then making more competition in the work force, which isnt a bad thing.
@9JQCTBS1yr1Y
full of positivists in people and more together and united well educated
@9JQCB6R1yr1Y
More people in the school would flourish and become successful
Chaotic as there is alot of different people at my age. We should do partial support and then let others do the rest
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Why is it essential to hear diverse voices in decision-making, and how does that benefit everyone?
@9KS3B8R1yr1Y
Because that is democracy, and it benefits everyone as if our democracy is strong and does this, then everyone is strong, as it's literally in the name, rule for, by, and of the people.
Hearing diverse voices allows for proper representation of the nation, as there is not only one group of people here.
@9KSKM681yr1Y
We become more divided when we focus on how we are different. We should focus on how we are all the same and how we are one people.
@9KS3B631yr1Y
Because many other cultures experience different things in the United states.
@9KXSG4DProgressive1yr1Y
Information and understanding is the most important thing when making a decision, the more diverse voices, the more knowledge you have.
@9KS3C8T1yr1Y

How would you define freedom in your everyday life, and how important is it to you?
@8C5MF4D 1yr1Y
Being free is to be able to enjoy my constitutional and human rights while also respecting those same rights for other people.
@9HXPNG31yr1Y
Freedom is being able to do anything you want that falls under morality. I find freedom to be very important to me.
@9HYYJB6Republican1yr1Y
Freedom to act and say what I think is very important. We shouldn't have to be confined and forced to not voice our concerns about what is going on around us, it is important to understand what is going on around America and take those issues and come up with a fix.
@9HXQMBG1yr1Y
Freedom is having the ability to live your life without outside sources interfering with your lifestyle or life choices. Freedom is very important to me because of Americans' rights, like freedom of speech and religion.
@9HXPKKF1yr1Y
i will define freedom by something that you are free to do but not bad things good things that will help you in live
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Why do you think it's important for voices of minority groups to be heard in decision-making processes?
@9JHZPZJ1yr1Y
People like to say separate but equal but that contradicts the whole point. We are not an equal country if not everyone is included the same and not given the same opportunities and rights.
@9JHYZ261yr1Y
I don't think that it is that important because they can't really do anything about it.
@9JHYVS41yr1Y
because it shows all sides and shows you things you may not have seen.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
What would a society look like where everyone truly has an equal opportunity to succeed?
@9HGMKBH2yrs2Y
A Society where we prirotize hearing others voices before we decide. Where we prioritize the whole over the few, where we make decisions based on evidence and the majority with ironclad frameworks to protect the rights of any minority from the tyranny of the majority. The society must know its own history and that of the wider world if we want to have a chance of giving everyone an equal opportunity to succeed otherwise how can you avoid painful mistakes already made by others.
@9HGMMVP2yrs2Y
Businesses and restaurants stop discriminating people of color, peoples gender, sexuality, disability, religion (etc...)
@9HGMXGH2yrs2Y

@9HGM2KJ2yrs2Y
people would start to do things that they shouldn't
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How can respecting individual freedoms lead to a stronger and more united community?
@9JJCXC41yr1Y
People being allowed to live how they want within legal boundaries could help people feel more positive about the country
@9JJD2HR1yr1Y
Everyone wants their own freedoms. Giving people the freedom to have their own thoughts, religions, etc. can lead to everyone feeling as though their thoughts, opinions, traditions, etc. are valued and seen by others. So their would be less fighting about who's is "better" or "right" and leave more room for understanding which would lead to a more united front in the future.
@9JJCVBY1yr1Y
I think respecting freedom is important for our good, but we musn't respect freedom used for corrupt and evil purposes.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y

@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What does the idea of 'freedom with responsibility' look like in a school setting?
I think this is important for diversity and equality. Education is pivotal and should not be pushed towards any religion, political belief or way of life. It is important that children be taught to make their own choices through education and understanding, and that they are safe to learn and make choices that better help the understand the world that we live in, and how we all affect it.
@9KJLFSQRepublican1yr1Y
Diversity may occur it may not. Im not opposed to it but to enforce false ideas like god is not real that is evil.
@9KGJDZL1yr1Y
Giving students the freedom to explore and find their own beliefs is essential for young peoples' learning.

@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
How do our school policies reflect our society's values on freedom and equal opportunity?
@9HXQ37T1yr1Y
It kind of shows how bad we have gotten as a society to have to make all of these policies and I think they are way too strict on students, causing them uneeded stress
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y

In what ways does technology advancement challenge or support the protection of individual rights?
@9KB8TNN1yr1Y
It challenges because as technology advances it can take the face of people and voice leading to fake people and it can be used to frame anyone
@9KB8TBH1yr1Y
the way that the technology you use can be tracked by anyone who is tech savvy, and that you will always have a digital footprint
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What do you think is the most important aspect of a society that values both individual rights and community responsibility?
@9JJD34J1yr1Y
The responsibility laid upon our government is to ensure "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"
The responsibility of any members of this society is to ensure our government reaches and achieves this goal.
@9JJCPSM1yr1Y
individual rights, because people in better conditions are better to their community.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
How could the concept of social justice be taught effectively in schools to inspire action?
@9J5QZ7V1yr1Y
Having them be taught of former liberal leaders who have made a impact in the past
by teaching them more about ghandi and people who did things like him
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Why might some people argue that too much government regulation can be a bad thing, and do you agree?
@9JRTLLR 1yr1Y
Yes too much government regulation on certain things can be bad. It’s almost like the term “helicopter parent” when they never let their child do anything without parental supervision. The government overshadowing people’s day to day lives causes secrecy and and paranoia amongst those who try and “do the right thing”. Meaning people that do what they can to get by are now being prosecuted and even jailed for trying to survive in a country that doesn’t provided much help. The American live in a free country, not a dictatorship.
@9JRTCGB1yr1Y
Consolidated representative power can quickly be abused. Additionally, the larger the constituency the fewer people will be represented well.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y

What is an example of a small act of kindness that made a big difference in someone's life?
@9HXMTSY1yr1Y
Paying for someone's groceries when they can't afford the whole bill. Because it shows that people care about them and gives them a more positive outlook on life.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y

In your opinion, what's the most effective way to advocate for minority rights in a democratic society?
@9HQB7DKIndependent2yrs2Y
Look at them for who they are, human as with the rest of us. We should all be treated the same regardless of who or what we are.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What small action can each of us take to promote a culture of empathy and respect in our daily interactions?
