Marianne Williamson is a much better alternative to Joe Biden and career Democrats who are still beholden to large corporation donations for their campaigns.
Her proposal to establish a Department of Peace reflects a novel approach to address violence and conflict, which is a stark contrast to many traditional politicians. It's a vision that seeks to uplift humanity, rather than being swayed by corporate influence.

The Department of Peace is literally just the State Department. The woman does not know how our own government works and that is distressing.
@BuzzardMayaGreen1yr1Y
The US State Department is responsible for starting numerous wars and conflicts.
Maybe we need a new approach that advocates peace and diplomacy;omacy first?
@Patriot-#1776Constitution11mos11MO
Marianne is just as bad, perhaps even worse. Face it, you're not going to get anything but a totalitarian despot from the ranks of the Democrat Party anymore and probably a neocon from the Republicans, because authoritarians have hijacked both parties. Outsider liberals like RFK and conservatives like Vivek Ramaswamy are exceptions, but in general, this is the world we live in.
@9KFT2D89mos9MO
I really wish she would run, she would have mine and my siblings vote at least!
@79BMGWWRepublican 1yr1Y
why does she have to be pro-abortion??? she has genuine potential to be the only viable candidate if only she weren’t so vehemently anti-human rights
@9D6NHJXLibertarian1yr1Y
“pro-abortion”
Pro-choice is not exactly the same thing as pro-abortion. just because she believes in a woman's right to choose does not mean that she is actively hoping for women to get abortions.

She states in this interview < https://youtu.be/iL8fUFJiIZk?t=220 > that she believes it is an issue of private morality rather than public morality and that women have the right to do what they like with their bodies.
Agreed! She would attract many more independent voters if she was was pro life
@JonathanHall84 1yr1Y
I've got to say, the fact that I seem to side the most with Marianne Williamson just gives me a feeling of absolute dread for the upcoming 2024 election.
The woman is just as much of a wackadoodle anti-science anti-vaxxer as RFK, with some anti-psychiatry and extra hippy-dippy-deepity nonsense thrown in, like how we should "pour God's love on our immune systems" and that "we come from another realm of consciousness and long for home".
Her Twitter is also full of weird nonsense like:
"When God is seen as He, the soul is seen as She. Just archetypes. Spirit impre… Read more

“And let's not get started on that "Department of Peace". Golly gee whillikers, you mean our country ought to have a government body responsible for managing international and domestic conflicts, conflict resolution and diplomacy?WE ALREADY HAVE THAT. THAT IS THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT.”
It's interesting you mention the Department of Peace, because it does seem redundant considering the existence of the State Department. The State Department, with the help of diplomats and other professionals, already works to resolve international conflicts and promote peace. However, Williamson's proposal might be trying to highlight the need for a more peace-centered approach for domestic conflicts as well. What are your thoughts on how best to handle domestic conflicts?

Marianne Williamson's Major Policies
I have a few videos for anyone looking for more information on her policies.
Also, her website is https://marianne2024.com/ :)
@T4riffMackenzie1yr1Y
We need an RFK jr vs. Marrianr debate.
@9DC9P78 1yr1Y
She would rip him to sheds, I fear.
@C1v1cBobby1yr1Y
Yeah but at least there would be a DEM debate! Biden is to scared

How can we add her stance on the National Security › Mexican Drug Cartels question on here? I know you can submit changes when a candidate's stance is listed, but I don't see a way to add a stance when she's not listed for this question. Her answer should be No, legalize all drugs instead based on this quote from her website:
To deal with drug cartel violence, I will end the war on drugs. The war on drugs has failed to stop the cartels, just as it has failed to stop the drug overdoses. Instead, we have spent $1 trillion only to make the problem worse. By ending the war on drugs and legally regulating most drugs, we will take away the cartels’ black market, therefore taking away their power.
@9M9SRDR7mos7MO
WOW! When I initially saw this option of making all drugs legal I laughed a bit. Thinking surely no one thinks that's a good approach. After reading her statement about how it would take away the cartel's power I've realized I need to give this situation more thought.
