How could climate change activism be made more appealing to people indifferent to the issue?

 @9JSJ27MLibertariananswered…1yr1Y

I wish that it were, but most people are stuck in their ways and the only way to show them how important it is, is to show them the dangers of it but they often don't belive it.

 @9JS994CIndependentanswered…1yr1Y

Many people who don't agree with climate change are right leaning. Many of them include farmers. They and their families could lose their livelyhoods if their crops are unable to adapt to the new world.

 @9JSYFFP from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JS97QL from California  answered…1yr1Y

Climate change is an issue that can be shared with more analogies and comparisons to common life and well-being.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

If you witnessed a peaceful protest for an issue you’re indifferent about, would it spark your interest and why?

 @9KXY5HP from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

it would spark my interest at first seeing as the protest was peaceful, but I wouldn't just immediately side with these people, I would research what they're protesting first.

 @9KXWZX6Women’s Equality from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

 @9KXXT4Z from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

No it would not spark my interest because of the fact they might be peacefully protesting but that does not mean what they are protesting about is right.

How do you balance your personal needs with the needs of the greater community in decision-making?

 @9L2QSDL from California  answered…1yr1Y

I would balance my personal needs to the greater community by sharing my thoughts and ideas with organizations that can make a difference.

 @9L4ZKY5 from Colorado  disagreed…1yr1Y

My personal needs and the needs of my community are either interdependent, or I am not in that community.

 @9L3HG95Green from Texas  agreed…1yr1Y

I believe that as long as a person is capable of changing to environment to make a better place, that would be a much more effecient way of identifying and providing a solution to a social problem.

 @9L2NLBF from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

My family needs come above all else. they are my ultimate priority and responsibility. However the Non-agression principal should be of upmost imnportance

 @9L2NPKD from Louisiana  answered…1yr1Y

To balance this a plan or selected choice should be used to help a community.

 @9L2NSSSRepublican from California  answered…1yr1Y

I believe you cannot help others until you help yourself. You cannot possibly provide for another individual in need when you are having problems of your own.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

Do you believe that everyone should have equal access to education, healthcare, and housing - why or why not?

 @9HL3RKY from Ohio  answered…1yr1Y

 @9HL3RY2 from Iowa  answered…1yr1Y

no, i dont belive so because people have worked differently and it pays off for example someone who is a doctor should get the same housing as someone who works a 15 hourly paid job,

 @9HL3SYC from Iowa  answered…1yr1Y

I do because if you live in this country and pay taxes and work as others do, you should be allowed the same opportunities as others.

 @9HL44BF from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

Yes because even though some people aren't U.S citizens doesn't mean that they don't live in the U.S now , and some people who aren't come to the U.S to seek things like education and housing and health care to give their children a better life then they were able to have.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How would your daily routine change if public services like healthcare and education were significantly improved?

 @9JJCY8Rfrom Northern Mariana Islands  answered…1yr1Y

I would not be directly affected but I believe it is the right thing to do.

 @9JJGLP6 from Iowa  disagreed…1yr1Y

I would be directly affected by education significantly improving and would love if there were more standards that students would be held to.

 @9JJDFS7 from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JJCT24 from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

If I could go to the hospital without going into debt, or go to school without hearing 17 gunshots, it would be great.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

Do you think protecting the environment should be a priority, even if it means higher costs for consumers?

 @9KW3Y5H from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

Yes because the Earth is in danger and if people have to suffer financially for us to fix it, I think that's okay because we all need the planet and it is not only ours to destroy.

What's one thing you wish older generations understood about the world from your perspective?

 @9HYDCR5 from California  answered…1yr1Y

I wish older generations would be able to understand how change is a good thing and that no change won't take us anywhere and greatly affect the future of the country in the long run.

 @9HYWHZN from Tennessee  disagreed…1yr1Y

"Change" is not inherently good. America becoming a fascist dictatorship would be "change." And it is much easier to change things for the worse than for the better. We must be open to change, but that must be tempered with prudence. Chesterton's Fence applies.

 @9HYHNLY from Utah  agreed…1yr1Y

The furthering development of new technology has drastically changed the world we live in. Changes in the world require new solutions and innovations.

 @9HYHLT2 from Georgia  disagreed…1yr1Y

I feel like the change in the present right now could effect the future to this economy either on military or money or preduction.

 @9HYBLS5  from Nevada  answered…1yr1Y

i wish they understood how younger people feel, instead of getting mad at younger people

 @9HZ4RQ9Republicanfrom Florida  disagreed…1yr1Y

I believe older people do know how younger people feel because they have been through life. They are just trying to get younger people ready for reality

 @9HYHZ6B from Michigan  agreed…1yr1Y

i think that some generations dont like younger people simply because we are doing things differently, they also hate on the younger generations for going things the easier way

How important do you believe diversity and inclusion initiatives are in schools and workplaces, and why?

 @9HL4B99from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

There are 2 genders/sex. Rest are mental illnesses. I am not homophobic, and I will not hate/deny anyone's representation, but I do not support them.

 @9HKV6TR from Massachusetts  answered…1yr1Y

I find it of paramount importance. As much progress as we have made, we can’t delude ourselves into thinking that progress is done.

 @9HL48P8 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Diversity imitative are a smokescreen for the very opposite: the homogenization of education, witnessed by the abhorrent Congressional testimony given by the high priestesses of PennU and Harvard. We should focus on creating a grammar school-like meritocracy which selects the brightest individuals from even the lowest socio-economic based on skill and promise, whose consideration is not diversity of race or background, but truly diversity of thought. This is the surest form of mobility possible.

 @9HL53LBWomen’s Equality from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

I don't care what other people decide to do with their lives and bodies if it doesn't hurt me I don't care.

Can you think of a moment in history where a left-wing movement significantly changed the course of a country, and do you see its relevance today?

 @9HYFQH7 from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

The civil right movement and the women’s liberation movement, to name the first couple examples that come to mind.

 @9HYFVY4 from California  answered…1yr1Y

That one time when people were protesting black lives matter and people would not stop crying about the protests

 @9HYFTP3Peace and Freedom from California  answered…1yr1Y

 @9HYFSRWDemocrat from California  answered…1yr1Y

The enforcing of mask and vaccine brought u a separation between Democrats and Republicans. I do see relevance today because it brings up the conversation of "My body, my choice".

If you could design a smartphone app to solve a social issue, which issue would it tackle and what would the app do?

 @9HYDHM7 from California  answered…1yr1Y

i would design an app for parents to install on their kids phones and the app will disable the use or download of apps like Instagram, snapchat, tik tok, X because kids see to much. in the past week I've seen 4 groups of toddlers singing sexyy red songs this needs to stopp

 @9HYD7V6  from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I would design an app that makes it very easy to learn things a father may have taught you such as how to grill, tie a tie, and have a positive male influence and role model, as the rate of single motherhood in the country is going up.

 @9HYCWKG from California  answered…1yr1Y

If i had to design an app to solve social issue the app would be called solving social issue what it do is solve social issues it would tackle social issues

How does it feel when you try to discuss climate change with someone who has a very different opinion?

 @9HW2FXT  from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

It is very difficult if someone from an opposing view cannot listen to my opinion, but I understand that everyone thinks differently. My only issues with some of the people who have a different view is they cannot have an intelligent discussion about it. I have no problem with someone disagreeing with me, but I do have an issue if they can't sit and discuss it, and at the end of the day, we both understand that though we might not agree with each other we can respect each other.

 @9HVYR27Republican  from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I feel that the U.S should do everything in its power to help climate change so if someone was not agreeing with me it would be hard to talk to the,

 @9HW24CBDemocrat from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

It tends to be difficult as they try and back up their opinion and not really listen to what I’m saying.

 @9HW2Y64  from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

People who are ignorant and hate to look at the facts of the other side because they are so stuck up in their ideas. For example, you can feel it getting physically hotter, 2023 was the hottest year to date we have ever lived through, imagine this summer, it'll be hell on earth

If you could create a new law focused on environmental protection, what would it be and why?

In your observation, how do societal views on gender roles and equality continue to evolve, and what impacts have you seen?

 @9HL4R2Y from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I dont think that it matters and that we should indoctrinate and force bad opinions but rather educate them on it

 @9HL4FS3Democrat from Massachusetts  answered…1yr1Y

I would say that nobody should enforce their gender or identity to other people. for example, if you are a vegan, you shouldn't force your ideas to other people.

If you had the power to end one form of discrimination, which would you choose and why?

 @9LJ6M79  from California  answered…1yr1Y

One form of discrimination that I would choose to end would be racism. I do understand that you can't really end it but I would want to decrease racist hate crimes and racist groups. I believe that racism is very upsetting and it's also pretty dangerous in certain areas. In my opinion, I see racism as something stupid because why does someone's skin color or culture make you so mad and angry?

 @9LJ6932 from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

the discrimination of race its sick and tired of having people stereotype or think they are superior because of the their skin color

 @9L4DZFW from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I have never seen it but true equality would be every student receiving attention and support to their own level.

 @9L4DZ4X from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

true equality means the same opportunities for every student no matter what. All of this crap of giving out scholarships and cuts just because of someones race is unfair. Everything should be based on merit. This has yet to be done.
