Yes, this will help States reduce Medicaid costs, but not if they are disabled

No, but they should show attempts to work, unless (a) disabled, or (b) the Medicaid coverage needed is for emergency / emergencies.

If they are able to, they should work. If someone is truly disabled, they should not be required to work in order to receive benefits.

 @96JCFM6 from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but with exceptions for disability. Or they must work a minimal amount of hours.

Yes, if capable and they are not on disability that would keep them from working

 @936R8S2 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes and they should be required to get drug screened every 3 months and if they are positive they should be stripped of their benefits immediately and must seek rehab in order to get the benefits back

People who have an ability to work should work. Those who are fully disabled should have to have 2 state approved physicians sign off on their disability. Too many take advantage of it.

All low income people should be required to pass a Federal government paid health exam. If they are judged fit enough to work then they must procure a job, after job-training.

 @arandazzo06Republican from Massachusetts  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, unless there is a serious health issue preventing them from working

 @8RGM9MD from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

People who can work should be required to work to receive Medicaid, but for those who cannot, it shouldn’t be a requirement.
