Teachers should not have the right to carry guns while teaching, instead the school should hire more trained officers who have the background and training to operate a firearm in the correct way. Also this could have a negative impact on what people see the true meaning of teaching is. A teachers job is to educate kids to the best of their ability on subjects that will help the kids get into a good college setting them up for a bright future. If the teachers carry guns around arming them may distract them from their true core responsibilities.
