Inflation is increasing and getting harder for your parents/you to pay for things. Why wouldn't anyone want to raise it? Sure you're not suffering because you have a good job and a nice house. But other people don't. What about the people who just moved out and need to buy a house but oh my gosh it costs 1,500 for a studio. Then you need to save up but realize that you have to pay for bills and food and if your trying to get a better job and you go to school you'll be in debt because of the loan and it's just a mess.
