I understand why a person may feel that way, but it's important not to fall into "I'm just one person, my actions are insignificant" mindset. It's one thing if it is, in fact, just you that feels that way. But it never actually is just you. There are probably hundreds of millions of people who feel that same way and aren't doing anything. But you can do something. Even if it's small, you can to bed every night knowing you made at least a little bit of a difference. Sure, it won't make up for all the damage done by mega corporations who have ingrained overconsumption into our minds and use unrecyclable materials for their products/packaging, or for all the mega rich celebrities using private jets for a trip that would take a half hour by car, but it's still something. That's what matters.
