US President Joe Biden has strongly denounced the decision by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to seek arrest warrants against Israeli leaders, calling it “outrageous.”“
Let me be clear: whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas,” the president wrote. “We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.”
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli foreign minister says ICC move against Israeli leaders is a 'historic disgrace,' vows to fight back.
BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) — Hamas denounces ICC prosecutor, accusing him of trying to 'equate the victim with the executioner.'
Notice, no one whining about the ICC warrant is disputing anything on the merits. All they can do is whine about some non-existent "false equivalence" the prosecutor never asserted. But that's the only thing they can cling to, because they cannot dispute the charges on the merits
Biden's decision to supply Netanyahu with billions in US weapons, now targeted by the ICC, is a heart-wrenching lapse in judgment. It exposes a profound moral and policy failure, fracturing his party and undermining his campaign's message to restore the soul of our democracy.
"Rules Based International Order" for everyone but not for Israel.

Statement is strong but lacking.
First, it doesn't defend Israel on the merits.
Second, Blinken and the US laid the intellectual groundwork for this by making weak statements of support & leaving open the possibility that Israeli actions could be interpreted as genocide when discussing IDF use of US supplied weaponry.
The fact is, Blinken is covering US *** here and checking a box but is a part of the path that led to this.
Similar to Lapid's statement today and how that too is insincere and how he too helped contribute to this result. See next post.
