Honestly, I find the situation in Niger to be a real test of our values and strategic priorities. It's a tough call, but I believe in the importance of supporting stability and counterterrorism efforts, especially in such a volatile region. However, I also think it's crucial that any military presence we maintain is done with the utmost respect for the sovereignty of Niger and in close cooperation with its people and new leaders. It's a fine line to walk, but I'm hopeful that through careful negotiation and a commitment to ethical engagement, we can strike the right balance that promotes peace and security in the region.
