Trump ‘plans to send kill teams to Mexico to take out drug lords’

Donald Trump is planning to send US assassination squads into Mexico to kill the leaders of drug cartels if he returns to the White House, according to a report.

The former president, 77, has spoken publicly of his determination to tackle America’s fentanyl crisis by “waging war” on the criminal gangs who fuel it.

But Mr Trump is yet to announce the full extent of his plans which, according to Rolling Stone, involve covertly deploying — with or without the Mexican government’s consent — special-operations units tasked with assassinating drug lords.

Three Trump allies, cited by Rolling Stones, claim the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee has privately endorsed the missions – even though he has yet to decide on specific details such as how many US troops would be sent into Mexican territory.

Rolling Stone reports conversations with his inner circle during which Mr Trump has insisted that the US military has “tougher killers than they do” and pondered why such assassinations have not been carried out before.

The magazine’s sources, which include at least one Republican lawmaker, suggest Mr Trump argued that eliminating the “kingpins” of the most powerful cartels would seriously damage their operations and ability to supply drugs to America.

One thing is for certain, our enemies will both fear and respect America once President Trump is back in the White House.

Right now our enemies see Joe Biden and are encouraged to do awful things.

They see a weak man who’s incompetent.

Biden is a threat to national security.

Oh I stand behind that 100%!! The cartels have caused more deaths in America than terrorists ever have. If eliminating every member of the cartels stops the drugs from entering the country I am all for it.

The new wall - what little there is of it - has been a deterrent. But with gaps in many places there is always a way through. A well paid job is repairing the holes that the cartels cut on a regular basis. Why aren't those people apprehended ?

It wasn't so long ago that trump asked for $6B to build his wall. Today the USA sends many times that amount to protect the borders of other countries.

If it’s legal for the US to use extrajudicial killings of terrorists overseas who have killed at most a few thousand US citizens, drug king pings and factories are fair game. 100,000’s if not millions have died due to their wares

An Israeli strike on a residential building in northern Gaza killed dozens of people early Tuesday, the territory’s emergency service said, in the latest attack to cause mass casualties in the area since Israel renewed its offensive against Hamas in the north.The Palestinian Civil Defense, the emergency service, said at least 55 people were killed in the strike in the town of Beit Lahia. Outside the sports center in the southern city of Zhuhai where a 62-year-old man had plowed an S.U.V. into a crowd, killing at least 35 people, workers on Wednesday quickly removed bouquets of flowers left by grieving residents. Uniformed police officers and officials in plainclothes shooed away bystanders and warned them not to take photos. At hospitals where patients were taken after the attack — at least 43 more people were injured — local officials sat outside the intensive care units, blocking journalists from speaking with family members.On the Chinese internet, censors were mobilized to delete videos, news articles and commentaries about the attack. Almost 24 hours had passed before officials divulged details about the assault, which happened on Monday, including the death toll. Their statement offered limited details, and they have held no news conferences.The response was a precise enactment of the Chinese government’s usual playbook after mass tragedies: Prevent any nonofficial voices, including eyewitnesses and survivors, from speaking about the event. Spread assurances of stability. Minimize public displays of grief.The goal is to stifle potential questions and criticism of the authorities, and force the public to move on as quickly as possible.
