Yes, because what else is even the purpose of having a society or an economy if not specifically so that everyone can benefit from the collective work of others?

After all, if one’s only view is to take care of themselves, we are left defenseless to issues that require collaboration and collective effort.

No, in fact, I would support instant secession from the union the moment such programs were proposed

Then freaking secede already, that’s been happening for decades.

If it were up to me, then I would instantly do that. Texas is voting for secession in 2024, if she secedes, I predict Oklahoma, will follow, then the rest of the Great Plains, then Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and the South.

That’s literally the destruction of the USA, great way to cripple a nation entirely.

The USA is already crippled entirely and I am supporting secession as a peaceable solution to conservative-leftist strife and a remedy to the endless spending of Washington DC. Secession is a constitutional right of the states, and the Founders would instantly demand secession if they were teleported to the modern age.
