You believe that a society based on voluntary interactions and cooperation leads to a more prosperous and harmonious community.
Voluntarism is a political ideology that emphasizes the principle of individuals voluntarily participating in or withdrawing from government functions and services. It is rooted in the belief that human interactions should be free from coercion and should instead be based on voluntary consent. This ideology is often associated with libertarianism and anarcho-capitalism, as it advocates for minimal government intervention and maximum individual freedom.
The history of voluntarism as a political ideology can be traced back to the classical liberal thought of the 18th and 19th centuries.…

If a friend inspired you to volunteer for a cause you knew little about, would you do it; why or why not?
Yes, because it’s time with my friends and an opportunity to help people.
@9KKQ5VS3mos3MO
If you volunteer your time, even a little, it can make a huge impact. All people should volunteer regularly.
I would because volunteering to help people is good for the community as a whole.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
How important do you think it is for celebrities or influencers to be involved in volunteer work?
@9KD6BSP3mos3MO
I think everyone, no matter their status should help out in their community. So, yes I think everyone, including celebrities and influencers should be highly encouraged to participate in volunteer work.
@9KD3XDMRepublican3mos3MO
I think its very important and spreads awareness faster
@9KD5LDL3mos3MO
Pretty important! Just because a person has money shouldn't be a thing where you choose to not do a certain thing because you have money!
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
Have you been part of a group effort where everyone contributed voluntarily and succeeded?
@9KXXL673mos3MO
Volunteering makes people understand what helping people feels like and gives them the reality that people need assistance.
@9KXWZMZ3mos3MO
During the events of Hurricane Sandy, my family and I helped those who have been affected by the flooding.
@9KXWZ4R3mos3MO
I have helped at a church so I don't know if that counts

What role should volunteerism play in education, and could it sustain a school system?
@9HMPC29Republican 6mos6MO
While it might be challenging for volunteerism alone to sustain an entire school system, it can certainly enhance the educational experience and contribute significantly to the overall development of students. Volunteers can provide supplemental support, programs, and mentoring.
@9HMPB5R6mos6MO
Volunteerism is good, increases the capacity of which schools can operate
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How do you think communities would change if everything operated on a voluntary basis?
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
If there were no mandatory laws, how do you think communities would enforce ethical standards?
@9HVFP2Q5mos5MO
Communities would try and do whatever they want because there are no set laws that they have to listen to.
@9HVWL2K5mos5MO
I think people would work together over the issues they have in their community to make it safer.
@9HVFDK85mos5MO
I think communities would handle certain situations differently , like maybe all the nonviolent/crime making people would stick together and help one another.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
Can you think of a situation where voluntary participation vastly improved an outcome?
@9HN7QSS6mos6MO
Yes voluntarism are good because it the only way to communicate with your communities people around you.
@9HN7CS7Women’s Equality6mos6MO
Absolutely! Voluntary participation can have a significant impact on improving outcomes in various situations. One example is when communities come together for volunteer clean-up initiatives. Let's say a neighborhood decides to organize a voluntary clean-up day in a local park. People willingly offer their time and effort to pick up trash, plant trees, and beautify the area. Through their voluntary participation, they can transform the park into a cleaner, more enjoyable space for everyone to enjoy. This not only improves the physical environment but also fosters a sense of community and pride among the participants. Voluntary participation can truly make a positive difference in many aspects of our lives.

@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What role does trust play in a successful volunteer initiative, and how can it be cultivated?
@9JBCZTK5mos5MO
Trust is a privilege. Trust gives people motivation to be involved. The only way trust can properly be used (nobody taking advantage of trust for personal gain), there must be strict laws/consequences in place to maintain that trust. The only way trust can grow is if we educate our people and keep them aware that by breaking trust (putting others in danger), they will face consequences.
@9J8W3KV5mos5MO
I don't believe in volunteering. Either pay me or go away.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How would you ensure a balance between personal freedoms and the needs of the collective in a voluntary society?
@9HTJGQPLibertarian5mos5MO
People will naturally look out for each other if they have not been forced to associate with each other.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
Can you imagine a world without any government intervention—what would be the biggest challenge?
@9HMP96WPeace and Freedom6mos6MO
Yes, the biggest challenge would be anarchy related issues
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
In a world governed by voluntarism, what mechanisms would exist to prevent exploitation or monopolies?
@9HDFP4JIndependent6mos6MO
Capping, unions, and restrictions on international trade
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
Do you think high levels of voluntary engagement could lead to more individual or collective innovation?
@9JPTX374mos4MO
Voluntourism can have negative impacts on the communities themselves. Short-term volunteers may lack cultural understanding and language skills.
@9JPTV5G4mos4MO
Yes i do if everyone in the country did more volunteer work more important things can get done like projects that can’t afford to pay a lot of people
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
How have small acts of kindness you’ve encountered shaped your view on volunteering?
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What incentives might encourage people to contribute to the common good without mandatory enforcement?
@9JLQPC64mos4MO
Some people just have the heart in them to give and contribute common good.
@9JLQ66V4mos4MO
Offering prizes or benefits that will help those with low income and in poverty, If they do a good amount of community service they should get some type of benefit to make living easier for them as well.
