When was the last time you fixed something instead of buying new, and how did that make you feel?
@9K8P452Independent3mos3MO
Made me feel great. It saved me money and that’s just common safe.
@9K8NXP53mos3MO
I have always preferred to fix what I have regardless of whether or not I can afford to replace it. Having been impoverished for a decade due to disability, I rarely have the option to buy anything new.
It feels good to do stuff on your own. Independent work without depending too much on other companies.
@9K8P5BC3mos3MO
I try my best to fix things that can be fixed because in todays economy it’s hard to afford anything let alone replace things you already have.

Describe a time when doing something resourceful gave you a sense of achievement.
I gave a homeless person money and it made me feel proud because they weren't hungry anymore.
@9JT2QDYRepublican4mos4MO
You never know what homeless people are gonna buy because they could buy drugs which is what got them there in the first place
@9JSBVNKPeace and Freedom4mos4MO
using my spare food, and being resourceful. also helping others.
@9JSCQWL4mos4MO
Sufficiency Economy stresses group forming among local people since the groups or organizations of local people will run various kinds of economic activities including integrated farming, handicraft making, food processing, business affairs, tourism at a community level

How might living within our means change our daily choices and their impact on the planet?
@9H7VFRDRepublican6mos6MO
It will change our daily choices like recycling more or producing less plastic. It might better the health of the planet.
If we focus more on that then our planet would be really clean we would be getting the bigger problems done and be able to take care of problems as soon as they happen.
@9H7W2GG6mos6MO
We will need to be more conscious of the things that are occurring in the world.
@9H7V6WK6mos6MO
Living within our means change our daily choices and their impact on the planet because we sometimes don't have a choice.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
If you had the power to change one aspect of the global economy toward sufficiency, what would it be and why?
@9HGWCF76mos6MO
Put a time limit on government assistance for those who aren't physically or mentally disabled. Stop sending so much money to foreign countries. We have plenty of things to use that money on here, or use it to help lower the national debt.
@9HGW27W6mos6MO
The global economy should shift to a more decentralized, liberal socialism economy.

Who is someone you admire for their modest lifestyle, and what have they taught you?
@9KXYLRWRepublican3mos3MO
My parents because they taught me many skills and I owe them
@9KXYFJ93mos3MO
I am not one for a modest life I want to live big like Andrew Tate.

How would your social interactions change if everyone around you adopted a more minimalist lifestyle?
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
How can we use social media to promote a culture of sustainability among young people?
@9KHFN7L3mos3MO
It would be hard to make any group of individuals agree on anything, it is not different with young people.

When have you felt most connected to your community without spending money?
@Drew-DoehringRepublican 3mos3MO
When I am volunteering to do something that will help build/develop the community. Essentially, giving back without making any money from my work.
@9KYMP5D 3mos3MO
community events, such as "art at the park" or even little things like being in the city and playing a sport with a group of locals getting to know them the more we play.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
Describe a local or family tradition that embodies the idea of sufficiency and its significance to you.
@9JHX5SV4mos4MO
The basic idea of a sufficiency economy is a body which practices moderation in growth and spending of assets. My family has a tradition of being "late adopters" of new technology. We purchase and drive used cars, purchase year-old phones and electronics and other circumstances in which the public are testing and experimenting with new ideas or technology. This is done since it is a more affordable way of living and allows any issues to be sorted out with new technological devices.
@9JHVN7K4mos4MO
When we cook for thanksgiving and we make the amount of food we need.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
Imagine a world where everyone practiced sufficiency; what do you think would change in society?
@9HJTS736mos6MO
Everything, produce only that which creates a locally sustainable environment, that is decent and allows you to live with dignity, so no dont eat bugs because i know what this question aims at
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
What personal sacrifices would you be willing to make for a self-reliant community?
@9HJC85Y6mos6MO
I would be willing to give up many products that do not use sustainable packaging or sourcing
@9HJBJ646mos6MO
Personnel sacrifices I'd be willing to make for a whole self-reliant community would be nothing, because it's our nature as people to work together and rely on each other when in need.
