When was the last time you fixed something instead of buying new, and how did that make you feel?

 @9K8P452Independent from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

 @9K8NXP5 from Colorado  answered…1yr1Y

I have always preferred to fix what I have regardless of whether or not I can afford to replace it. Having been impoverished for a decade due to disability, I rarely have the option to buy anything new.

 @9K8P5BC from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I try my best to fix things that can be fixed because in todays economy it’s hard to afford anything let alone replace things you already have.

 @9K8NYGCGreen from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

 @9H7VFRDRepublican from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

It will change our daily choices like recycling more or producing less plastic. It might better the health of the planet.

 @9H7WH6GSocialist from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

If we focus more on that then our planet would be really clean we would be getting the bigger problems done and be able to take care of problems as soon as they happen.

 @9H7W2GG from California  answered…2yrs2Y

We will need to be more conscious of the things that are occurring in the world.

If you had the power to change one aspect of the global economy toward sufficiency, what would it be and why?

 @9HGWCF7 from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Put a time limit on government assistance for those who aren't physically or mentally disabled. Stop sending so much money to foreign countries. We have plenty of things to use that money on here, or use it to help lower the national debt.

 @9HGW27W from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

The global economy should shift to a more decentralized, liberal socialism economy.

Describe a local or family tradition that embodies the idea of sufficiency and its significance to you.

 @9JHX5SV from Maryland  answered…1yr1Y

The basic idea of a sufficiency economy is a body which practices moderation in growth and spending of assets. My family has a tradition of being "late adopters" of new technology. We purchase and drive used cars, purchase year-old phones and electronics and other circumstances in which the public are testing and experimenting with new ideas or technology. This is done since it is a more affordable way of living and allows any issues to be sorted out with new technological devices.

 @9JHVN7K from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How can the concept of delayed gratification benefit us in the long-term, both financially and emotionally?

 @9KLKT7T  from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y
