How would you describe the relationship between your personal sense of purpose and the political environment around you?

 @9JSB3NJ from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JSCQWLanswered…1yr1Y

This learning process shapes perceptions that influence which norms, behaviors, values, opinions, morals, and priorities will ultimately shape their political ideology: it is a "study of the developmental processes by which people of all ages and adolescents acquire political cognition, attitudes, and behaviors."

 @9JS9ZXBIndependentanswered…1yr1Y

i think that some people should be allowed to have their own political views

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

In what ways do you think an individual's spirituality should influence their civic engagement and political participation?

 @9KY76PL from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

I think none i know in practicality it's alot harder as those values and teachings are engrained in people and this applies to all religions including Protestant religions and their values because government and religion should never mix ever

 @9KY758XPeace and Freedom from Nevada  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that an individual's spirituality can play a significant role in shaping their values, principles, and sense of purpose. When it comes to civic engagement and political participation, spirituality can inspire individuals to prioritize compassion, justice, and the well-being of others. It can motivate them to advocate for social equality, environmental stewardship, and the promotion of peace. However, it's important to respect diverse perspectives and ensure that personal beliefs do not infringe upon the rights and freedoms of others.

What would you do if a historical place significant to your cultural or religious identity were at risk?

 @9KY7TXDanswered…1yr1Y

The concept of "Religious Zionism" involves colonization so I think it is important that we do not kick people out of their homes just because my religion says that I should live in a certain place. We can look at this through Israel's occupation of the Gaza Strip and the horrors committed against the Palestinian people in instances such as the "Nakba" in 1948. People should have the right to escape persecutions for their religious ideas but not at the cost of others.

 @9KY76MBfrom Maine  answered…1yr1Y

There is not much i could do since i am a child, but if i could i would try to defend it as best as possible

 @9KY75G3 from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

If faith shapes a country's laws, how does that impact its diversity and inclusion?

 @9TG8DKC from California  answered…10mos10MO

some people may not establish themselves in that religion and may feel uncomfortable

 @9TGBNMG from Oregon  answered…10mos10MO

limits diversity and inclusion, as Zionism is an inherently colonial ideology

 @9TG6WZPIndependent from Iowa  commented…10mos10MO

If faith shapes a country's law the law will almost always be biased. There has been a standard of separation of church and state for a reason and we have lost sign of that.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What would you consider a fair approach to incorporate religious values in a country’s laws?

 @9HLSZZB from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

It is not good to involve religion in the government it limits everyone and forces religion

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What emotions do you feel when considering a homeland tied not just to place, but to faith?

 @9HLT46H  from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

Creation will always be questioned and as a servant of Jesus Christ I will encourage others to seek their own truth of faith by suggesting a study in the word of God and comparing to how other aspects of existence can be explained or disproved.

 @9HLS4K5 from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

i think claiming a homeland with a book with no actual indigenous roots gives you no claim over the actual indigenous population.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What is the significance of land to you, and how do you relate that to the rights of others who also claim a connection to the same land?

 @9JPMKRH from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JPMC7C from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Quite simply, land is simply a place to live. A group of people only have ties to land because they have built their community or society there. Land should not be claimed simply because one’s ancient ancestors lived there. Should others be allowed to live on that land? Yes, however they do not have the right to push those already there off the land or take political control of the area.

Do you think personal spiritual beliefs should influence educational content in public schools, and if so, how?

 @9JPLBXV from California  answered…1yr1Y

No. Educational content in public schools should remain secular and science based, except in the case of classes specifically teaching about religions, which should be optional.

 @9JPL3QDSocialist from California  answered…1yr1Y

No, because we are a country that has the right of freedom of religion so everyone should learn about all kinds of religion no matter what religious beliefs one has.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

 @9LCM8F6 from California  answered…1yr1Y

A promised land is the an idea that gives purpose to life. That in the end all is well and all will be okay if we live to our fullest potential with the best intentions. The idea of a promised land gives hope and purpose to people.

 @9LCM833 from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

A perfect society where everyone agrees and gets along. I don't believe it could exist today because corporations, businesses, and people lie to much to others and are too greedy for this to happen

How do your experiences with religious diversity shape your ideas about national unity?

 @9KBYCP8 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

What values from your upbringing would you wish to see reflected in your country's leadership?

 @9KBY4YQ from California  answered…1yr1Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Imagine if every country followed a single religion; how do you think this would affect global relations?

 @9J8HPD9 from Massachusetts  answered…1yr1Y

People foolishly treat any critique of a countries actions as an assault on that country's religion. They also create legal definitions stating anyone critiquing any facet of the country or religion are anti-xyz of that religion. If all countries had a relgion, and there were sufficient quantity of them, it would be increasingly unlikely that a stance accepting and respecting them all could exist. For that reason eventually everyone would need to be at war with everyone else due to basic critiques and optimism for improvement over silly and simple government functions (and some major ones too, I'm sure).

How do you reconcile the aspirations of Religious Zionism with the rights and aspirations of non-Jewish communities living in the same area?

 @9HFQHFMSocialist from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that it’s important to note that Israel is perfectly open to non-jewish citizens. Many arabs live in israel and are granted full citizenship and all the rights associated with it. It’s outside of Israel where other religions aren’t given equal - or in some cases any - rights. If israel is no more, would jordan and the UAE and saudi arabia allow all the jews in?

How would you advocate for a belief that's important to you without infringing on others' freedoms?

 @9L8Y25D from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Everyone can have a religion; however, not everybody has to. I will support and announce my religion, though, I will not force it upon anyone else. In this day and age, talking out about religion is called a forced upon, which I disagree with. No one is forcing anyone into a religion by talking about it to them. Just like anyone in the LGBTQ+, they force their beliefs on people more than religious people do. I believe we should all come to an agree-to-disagree movement. We don't have to agree with our opinions; however, \we need to respect and care for each other humanely.
