You believe in promoting social justice and empowering the oppressed through faith-based activism and political involvement.
Liberation Theology is a political ideology that emerged in the late 20th century, primarily in Latin America, as a response to widespread poverty and social injustice. It is a movement within the Christian theology that interprets the teachings of Jesus Christ in relation to a liberation from unjust economic, political, or social conditions. It has been described as "an interpretation of Christian faith through the poor's suffering, their struggle and hope, and a critique of society and the Catholic faith and Christianity through the eyes of the poor."

How does the phrase 'justice for all' translate into daily actions in your own environment?
@9JK7B6S1yr1Y
i don't really understand the question but people don't get use like how they are supposed to
@9JK6RMH1yr1Y
I feel like this states everyone has the right for justice.
@9JK6K9YLibertarian1yr1Y
Everyone no matter what they believe in should be equal
@9JK6HJL1yr1Y
Treating all equally (when it comes to social situations not personal ones)
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do acts of civil disobedience influence your perception of justice and equality?
@38MMGDQRepublican 1yr1Y
Civil disobedience is a way to expose problems with the justice system. People who civilly disobey are ready to deal with the consequences, such as prosecution, for a higher cause.
@9JK3QWT1yr1Y
Civil disobedience, committed by anyone, in high power or low power, should be treated evenly prosecuted.
@9JK855S1yr1Y
Civil disobedience, committed by anyone, in high power or low power, should be treated evenly prosecuted.
@9JK3YNDRepublican1yr1Y
Civil disobedience, committed by anyone, in high power or low power, should be treated evenly prosecuted.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What are the first steps you would suggest to someone looking to address inequity in their community?
@9KBCS5X1yr1Y
For starters, trying to make equal pay for women in their community, let them be able to get an abortion if they want as well, and I don’t know what else to add other than to just not discriminate or tolerate bullying.
@9KJDCPY1yr1Y
Don't argue against what someone believes in unless it is hurting someone or is not fair. Like if someone was a different religion or something you wouldn't get mad at them for it or treat them porrly.
@9KBBYQ4Republican1yr1Y
Right to fair Trail but ,Would let the public take a vote on the final decision
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
In your opinion, what's the most underrated way to contribute to positive change in society?
@9JK8GNT1yr1Y
Government should not use religious ethics or dogma to make decisions. Even if I agree with Liberation Theology's goals, I don't want to live in a country that codifies a Christian doctrine. If anything, they should use humanistic, secular values.
@9JKQKGP1yr1Y
With all respect given to every religion, Christianity should not be used to decide any matter of the state, and it is already sprinkled in into many government policies and politics. It is every hypocritical to criticize other countries who use religion in the government when we do the same. If the roles were flipped, US citizens would have an outcry.
Mental health, being able to improve someone's mental health in today's society is an amazing and very underrated way to contribute.
@9JR5Z6J1yr1Y
I believe that mental health improvement is not a large focus of society and that many people overlook it when thinking of how we can make a positive change is society.
@9JK5KXC1yr1Y
get the homeless of the streets and ban drugs as well as weed
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What is one thing you think your generation is getting right about tackling social problems?
@9LB9MGY1yr1Y
I think my generation has become more aware of mental health issues, along with poverty, which is an important issue.
@9LB5WG81yr1Y
I think we should be more equal over race and sexism
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
Do you think that people with more resources have an obligation to assist those without; why or why not?
@9K6GVYC1yr1Y
Human instinct is to give to others, to share, and to show empathy and understanding for those around you, our society teaches greed and selfishness and covers all of that up. If you are hoarding money, healthcare supplies, food, etc. when there are people around you suffering without a way to get out of that you should be doing what you can to help.
@9HGL7F72yrs2Y
I think they do because if they have an oversurge they can spare.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
How do you feel about using religious narratives as a framework for advocating social justice?
@9H8PWJG2yrs2Y
I feel like religion shouldn't be part of social justice because it doesn't matter what religion even if you are Christian you still get to advocate politics.
@9H8NY8Y 2yrs2Y
I don't think religious narratives should be necessary, but I support them if they are advocating for social justice, because often religion is used for the opposite purpose - to oppress those who do not align with their political beliefs.
@9H8P67C2yrs2Y
I think that we should not do that because everyone has different religions.
@9H8QHMX 2yrs2Y
We always have. The Constitution's moral framework is based heavily on that of the Bible, and a higher authority is the only way to establish an objective moral framework.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
What role do you think spirituality should play in discussions about economic and social policies?
@9HGMZCZ2yrs2Y
I think people need to really take a step back and self analyze and realize what we are doing in a situation and consider everybody's views and come together and create peace.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What actions do you think are most critical for creating a more equal and compassionate society?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you were to mentor a younger student, what social values would you want to pass on?

i want to pass on more self-accountability and respect for others.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
In what ways can young people influence older generations regarding social issues?
I hope that younger generations can be involved in the social issues that matter to them so that older generations might see us as a light in the darkness.
@9JBC8NL1yr1Y
to try and help them with what is best for us now days
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How does the concept of equality manifest in your day-to-day life?
@9LBR3KV1yr1Y
I feel that we should all try our best to make sure that equality is occurring more often, but it is important to understand that not everything is, can, or should be equal.
@9LBQYLM1yr1Y
Depending on the situation there is a time in the day where it appears on a day to day basis. It doesn't happen in many situations.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What does it mean to have a 'voice' in society, and how can those with a platform best use it?
@9KSKCTD1yr1Y
Responsibility to use that influence thoughtfully and responsibly.
Having a 'voice' in society generally means that you have a heavy influence on others, and those with a platform should try to stay non-controversial, however still speaking their truths and beliefs towards the public and sharing stories and thoughts whilst being respectful to everyone
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y

@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
What does the concept of 'solidarity' mean to you, and how have you practiced it?
@9J63Q8B1yr1Y
Solidarity is to be individualistic, to have your own opinions, options, and rights to do as you wish as long as they do not impede the rights of others.
@9J63Q4T1yr1Y
To me it means standing your ground when you are sure of your beliefs and to make sure those beleifs have actual solid evidence backing them up.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
In your life, how do you balance personal ambitions with the desire to help others?
@9LJ7PW2 1yr1Y
I balance personal ambitions with the desire to help others by recognizing and communicating my limitations, saying "no" when necessary, and honoring my commitments to myself.
@9LJ7CLK1yr1Y
I select what ambitions will be beneficial to myself and others while also balancing my time between what I want and what is important.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How would you express 'solidarity' with someone whose struggles are different from your own?
Expressing solidarity is not an easy thing to do with someone who leads a different life than yours. My thing is, you should try your best to put yourself in everyone's shoes. So in this case, try to hear the other's side and put yourself in those situations.
@9KVF6LJProgressive1yr1Y
I don't believe in any religion but I would say that valuing differences and where people come from is extremely important.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
How do you think your generation can contribute to a movement for social justice?
@9HVFK2M2yrs2Y

Yes faith can be a powerful tool, but not in this current Luciferian controlled world.

@9HMZFJQ2yrs2Y
helping others and volunteering to help the community
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
If you were to create a campaign to address a local social issue, what would it focus on and why?
@9HP9M7M2yrs2Y

@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What kind of world do you dream of living in, and what do you see as your role in creating it?
@9KRY2G31yr1Y
A peaceful world that people stop killing each other and be free
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
Can you envision a church that primarily serves the needs of the poor; what would it look like?
The church and other religious institutions have always had more money than they can ever spend, so I think it's only fair that they practice what they preach and serve the often neglected communities that need that help the most in a way that is not just simple charity, but community led assistance for our most vulnerable.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What would you do if you saw someone being overlooked or mistreated because of their background?
@9LB2FK6 1yr1Y
Try to find the justice and logic behind both parties and make amends
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When you think of 'the greater good,' what is the first example that comes to mind?
@9LCM3M61yr1Y
good of the world and the health of society in general

Some of the most difficult conversations ive had are about immigration
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you had the power to solve one social issue overnight, what would it be, and why?
@9JBPJ7N1yr1Y
Marijuana decriminalization. It's pointless to incarcerate people over a non lethal plant ☘️
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When has a person's story about their struggles deeply impacted you?
@9LH78KP1yr1Y
Their story has shown me how some people can still struggle in life and how it isn't easy for everyone. But that doesn't mean that it isn't worth working and fighting through these struggles.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When was the last time you saw someone make a sacrifice for the greater good, and how did it impact you?
@9KVF3W91yr1Y
Former SAS Operator Christian Craighead put his life on the line during the Nairobi Hotel Attack to protect foreign civilians. This gave me the mindset that just because one is not a fellow countryman/woman doesn't mean you shouldn't mean you can't go out of your way and protect the innocent.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When have you felt a meaningful connection to a larger cause, and how did you respond?
@9LB2X5R1yr1Y
Um well the Palestinian genocide ain't cool and it's only happening cause of racism, Islamophobia, and worldly gains smh
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do you believe young people can effectively support each other in pursuit of a just society?
@9KFQNYF 1yr1Y
" I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. Unsuccesful rebellions indeed generally establish the incroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them." -Thomas Jefferson
