Illegal immigrants form the basis of our economy through their hard work. Many compromise their physical health working to provide food for our tables and a home for our families. It is immoral for our nation to compromise their natural rights to life and health due to institutional racism and prejudice. Keep in mind: every single one of us has an immigrant background!
@9G58JQ57mos7MO
I agree with this comment about immigrant healthcare because everyone should acknowledge that immigrants are hard workers that know what should be done to get to their next step in life. They work hard to show their purpose.
@9G4L2JM7mos7MO
I agree, illegal immigrants most of the time are here to work and shape a better future for their kids!
@9G4525L7mos7MO
Yes I agree, most immigrants work harder than those who are U.S. Citizens, and pay their taxes, help contribute to the U.S. economy and yet not helping them with health care or give them their natural rights seems very inmoral
@9G44DRGLibertarian 7mos7MO
It is true that illegal immigrants form the basis of our economy through their hard work, and so therefore it should be the works of the constitution to grant them the rights they deserve, just like any other American. American soil is founded upon the work of immigrants.
@9G8KFBNLibertarian 7mos7MO
illegal immigrants should be treated evenly and given the same opportunities as a citizen, it allows them to be less likely to commit serious crimes and instead help the country as a whole.
@9G935GC7mos7MO
I agree with that because not only will it prevent them to commit any crimes and it can also convince them to become citizens of America.
@9G92VM4Progressive 7mos7MO
Immigration healthcare is a very important aspect. As a child of Immigrants, I think that every human being deserves the right to be treated equally and given all of the same opportunities whether they were born there or not. As the Author states, this makes people much less likely to commit crimes and even builds up the community as one whole family. Healthcare is a necessary resource so all people should have access to some form of it.
@9GB5BR6Peace and Freedom7mos7MO
I agree, because they are already here either way they are not going to leave, so it is best they do things legally and help as a whole instead of causing destruction only because they were not born here. They want to achieve the American dream for their children and family for them to be successful.
@9G923WSWomen’s Equality7mos7MO
My thoughts are yes treat illegal immigrants evenly and fair but not for the reason that they will do harm when not given these opportunities.
@9GHYNRWPeace and Freedom7mos7MO
we should give illigal immigrants a chance, drug test them, and make sure they arent here to sell illigal things, but if they arent give them a chance, not all countries are as good as america, they were coming here for a better life and we should give them a chance to become an american citizen.
@9F85M6R8mos8MO
Illegal immigrants are criminals. They are more than welcome to come into the country legally; however, those who do not are criminals, and should be treated as such.
@9GG3MKWPeace and Freedom7mos7MO
We all deserve health no matter what. Bcaysif you hav imigration heath care you should get healthcare
@9G2DHT97mos7MO
That makes no sense they're as human as any US citizen, and just because they don't have proper documentation it doesn't mean they should be completely denied healthcare. It should be a universal right. Or in the least, there should be a push for legal documentation.
@9G2F2VR 7mos7MO
I agree. They should also make it easier for the RIGHT PEOPLE to gain documentation in the U.S. they deserve help and freedom as much as the rest of us. They all have the basic human right to live and be healthy.
@9FP227H 8mos8MO
I believe many immigrants are ready to make America a more diverse great society. Many immigrants who come, work very hard for their earnings. The U.S. should provide a safe environment to those who seek refuge from their country.
@9FP3HXZ8mos8MO
Yes since immigrants help and do a lot of jobs and bring a lot to table like being able to usually speak at least two languages and help out with other things.
@9FP4K7R8mos8MO
I absolutely agree with this stance, however we should also prioritize making the process to become a citizen much more accessible, especially for lower income and disabled or otherwise disadvantaged immigrants, that way we can avoid laxing immigration safety laws in a way that could cause saftey problems
@9FP453W8mos8MO
Yes, immigrants are still people. I don’t understand why this country is so adamant on keeping people out when this wasn’t our land to begin with and we still brutally mistreat NATIVE Americans and neglect their existence. We do not have a soap box to stand on.
@9GQTMWX7mos7MO
America was meant to have many people come together to have a chance somewhere new. Now we are gate-keeping it from people and closing our doors rejecting what america was meant to be.
@9FWBY958mos8MO
Illegal Immigrants are not all the same, we can have a common in their story of becoming in the person they are today. but most definitely are not the same, they are some who care and actually pay taxes.
@9FWLKCR 8mos8MO
I totally agree with this all Immigrants aren't the same some do care and pay taxes. Mostly all Immigrants come here not for a better life for them but for there kids and will do anything for their kids.
@9HFRM8R6mos6MO
Illegal immigrants should not be deported and should be given the same healthcare rights as citizens. They are very hard working and tend to do the jobs that no one else wants to do.
@9HFS562Republican6mos6MO
Illegal immigrants can lead to overpopulation, they can steal jobs that could have been provided to Americans, and they are not U.S. citizens so they should not be treated like one. Respect them as people, but they should not be able to enter the country illegally, there are ways to come into this country legally.
@9HFS3MT6mos6MO
I agree and disagree, I think that even without a green card everyone should get equal healthcare. As for deporting, I think its only right depending on the years spent in the U.S., if they are a younger age and have spent the majority of it in the United States they shouldnt be sent back to a place they don't know much about.
@9GYZRB86mos6MO
My point of view is that migrants are having very hard in their countries which is the reason they flea. They need help that is why they risk their life coming over to have a better future for their children and for them. This is why they should be able to get healthcare.
@9GZNTX6Peace and Freedom6mos6MO
We should NOT deport all illegal immigrants, because if they're determined to go so far to go to The USA, imagine how much of a determined worker/person they will be in America.
@9GYHKVYPeace and Freedom6mos6MO
Immigrants are still humans, the US was built by immigrants. They deserve all-natural and universal rights as any other citizen, simpy because they are human and need help.
@9GZFXRN6mos6MO
I completely agree with this statement, as immigrants are the foundation of this nation and should be provided with healthcare like any other citizen.
I agree life should be s human right them not being a citizen does not take that away. Healthcare is often necessary to live and immigrants often need help and we should have the empathy to give them it.
@9G85X7L7mos7MO
Immigrants help the economy, without them, we would not have produce, much labor, and anyone deserves healthcare.
@9G663ZZ7mos7MO
Illegal immigrants only come to this country to have a better life to get away from war, drug cartels, and poverty, and to have a better life for their children.
@9GYFNL36mos6MO
These people are escaping their countries for a reason and providing that they are people without a criminal record and prove to be good citizens they should be allowed to stay.
@9GPBTRRWomen’s Equality7mos7MO
Think about the reasons for their immigration. Did they immigrate because they were sick or in danger, or for a better life? Either way, unless they are a threat they should be treated as fair individuals.
@9GYP4G76mos6MO
I agree, most immigrants work harder than those who are US citizens, paying their taxes, contributing to the US economy, and yet not helping them with healthcare or giving them their rights natural seems very immoral.
@9GQLJVS7mos7MO
If the immigrants aren't doing crimes and contributing to our country, they deserve the same things a U.S. citizen has. Just because they were born somewhere else doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to come over and have rights.
@9GRH9HTRepublican7mos7MO
i dont think that we should deport illegal immigrants because even tho they are in the land on the us they still abide by the rules and work and pay taxes and they should also deserve more opportunities into healthcare
@9GMPQMC7mos7MO
We should not deport every illegal immigrant because not all are bad and most have family in the U.S..
I think that everyone should have healthcare for free.
@9GHZJTN7mos7MO
That seems like so much work, if they aren't doing anything just let them be. But I don't think they should be able to benefit from american programs.
@9GJ6CB57mos7MO
I think immigrants should be granted American Healthcare benefits if deemed necessary. For example, if a immigrant were to be injured that ends up becoming something terrible while on American soil, the same healthcare provided to American citizens should be given to that immigrant.
Not everyone was privileged and had the same opportunities as others, therefore help immigrants with healthcare because they struggle more.
@WiseFr33domPatriot8mos8MO
Consider the case of a single mother working two jobs to make ends meet, barely able to afford healthcare for her own family. Is it fair to ask her to subsidize the healthcare of someone who is in the country illegally? What are your thoughts on this perspective?
@9GXY4FP6mos6MO
Illegal immigrants are still people, and many come to America for a reason. Of course in every side of the world their are bad people with bad intentions but we cannot discriminate against immigrants based on their citizenship. After all they are still human and deserve rights. Not to mention the backbone of most jobs in America, that keep this country running are Immigrants. Some have proper study and college degrees but many are not able to practice it due to restriction in America. The people who farm, cultivate, serve food, clean your car, do the housework, draw reports, risk their lives,… Read more
@9GZ88ZJ6mos6MO
I think if an immigrant has not commited a serious crime, they should be offered citizenship after living here for at least 5 years and have the same benifits as other citizens.
@9GZ8R7C6mos6MO
I agree, if they want to get citizenship they should be able to try and get it, also benefits should extend to more people.
@9GJCKQD7mos7MO
Illegal immigrants are humans just the same as you and me, and if they're escaping a bad situation or just need a place to live, then we should let them stay.
@9GGBPLW7mos7MO
Immigrants provide the basis of our economy. They compromise their health to benefit us. It would be wrong to deprive them of their basic rights.
@9GYB25K6mos6MO
Its inhumane to deny someone care for something that is life threatening, there is a good chance that they cant get the care needed in their home country.
