Crushing negative news.

We've seen hopeful photos of children in Gaza today, celebrating a longed-for ceasefire.

Was very clear from the start that this was what was going to happen, that Israel didn’t care about the hostages and that they were going to be allowed to ravage Gaza - something highly paid journalists are on the precipice of realising

In the years after this there will be no apology or public reckoning. At best there will be a few movies made that centre around Israeli soldiers who feel a little bad about what went down and have mental health

I have to believe we're witnessing the death throes of this fetid little state. I have to believe this can't be put back in the bottle

From NYT: About 14 rockets and mortars were fired from an area near the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt toward Kerem Shalom, an Israeli military spokesman, Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, said at a news briefing on Sunday night. One home in the kibbutz was struck.

yes, sunday night. today monday. but Kirby said kerem shalom crossing had been closed for several days. if true, it was shut before the incident sunday.

It just sounds like there's still rockets coming out of that area, which is why the Israelis might want to continue a military action.

Israel was amassing thousands of troops and heavy weapons in eastern rafah. Now they are moving in to the farm lands where some of the tents are. Not sure how biden will stop them now.

What would your reaction be if your country's actions were being stopped by another country, and do you think international intervention is always justified?

How would you propose resolving conflicts between nations if you were in a position of power?

Imagine your government didn't negotiate in good faith during a crisis; how would that change your trust in your leaders?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3wks3W

Why do you think a country might decide to invade another, and do you think any reasons justify such an action?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3wks3W

How would you feel if your hometown was targeted for an invasion, and how might that affect your view on your own government and its actions?
