You believe in the preservation and protection of the natural world for a sustainable and healthy future for all living beings.
Environmentalism is a political and ethical ideology that seeks to improve and protect the quality of the natural environment through changes to environmentally harmful human activities. It advocates for the sustainable management of resources, and the protection and restoration of the natural environment through conservation and green politics. Environmentalists are often involved in advocacy, education, and activism around issues such as pollution, climate change, deforestation, and endangered species.
The roots of environmentalism can be traced back to the 19th century with the Rom…

Do you believe that individual actions can have a significant impact on the environment, or is it more important for changes to be made at a governmental or corporate level?
Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires the mass cooperation and/or else governmental or corporate influences.
@9H942Z85mos5MO
People have the overall power to make change, they just have to be dedicated
@9H7N2435mos5MO
They are both important, but governmental and corporate-level changes make a more significant impact on the climate because of how many people it affects and potentially restricts from doing harmful things to the environment.
@9HCDGWF5mos5MO

@9H9ZGL55mos5MO
I think both have an effect on the environment, however large companies are the biggest offenders.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How do you imagine the future of our planet if current environmental trends continue, and how does that picture affect your choices today?
@9HCQL6Y5mos5MO
The future of our planet is a dark and unfair one if we allow current environmental trends to continue. The poor will suffer more than the rich, and millions will die from hunger or sickness.
@9HCQCP75mos5MO
I think pollution will greatly increase, and care for the environment would decrease.
@9HCQH3CJustice party member5mos5MO
A world where species would not exist
A world where the water price would increase
A world where contamination would also bring medical problems.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
What personal sacrifices are you willing to make for the sake of the environment, and where do you draw the line?
@9H7XKBS5mos5MO
Expanding oil drilling in the sea is where I Draw the line, they should definitely try better to help the environment though before we kill off the earth.
@9H7XTVPProgressive5mos5MO
As long as it doesn't impede on my daily life, then I'll do it.
@9H7XVL35mos5MO
I draw the line where we expand on more oil drilling and emission of carbon dioxide.
@9H8ZD475mos5MO
I don't litter and stuff like that because I want our area to be clean. Other than that I don't give a crap about "environmentalism". Even without humans, the world is going to heat up. It always has, like a cycle. We go from ice ages to the tropics and back.
@9K22VPS3mos3MO
The concerning bit is how long we’ve been in the hot era compared to the history of climate change
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
If you could invent something to help solve an environmental problem, what would that invention do?
@9H82F6C5mos5MO
This invention will create infinite renewable energy so that we don't have to rely on fossil fuels anymore.
@9H82F6H5mos5MO
The invention I would create would help scoop up all the trash left in the oceans.
@9H82FJV5mos5MO
I would invest of program that could do the job unlike the gov
@9H82G7B5mos5MO
find a way to create electricity without the need for friction.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
In what ways do you think our society undervalues or overlooks the importance of a healthy environment?
I think society does tend to overlook the importance of a healthy environment a lot in the rising carbon emission rates from our country and an underwhelming amount of education on the state of the environment among citizens.
@9K22VPS3mos3MO
I think we often forget the source of monetary value comes from natural resources and labor. Also the fact almost all life shares a common ancestor and how our health is directly affected by the environment
@9H9HPQR5mos5MO
Society overlooks the environment due to money. With money no one cares if they are damaging the planet
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How do you prioritize environmental concerns such as climate change, pollution, and wildlife conservation in terms of urgency?
@9H9JKSJ5mos5MO
I believe it is an issue to worry about now rather than later.
@9H9JJ725mos5MO
Eventually the Earth will not be the same as it was in the past due to ever-growing technology, so it would make sense to protect the environment by any means necessary.
@9H9FX6T5mos5MO
I consider myself a staunch environmentalist. I love experiencing nature and the outdoors. We must preserve our environment at all costs. Especially considering the real threat of climate change.
@9K22VPS3mos3MO
I would prioritize education so everyone understands the problem, sequestering carbon (hard laws to preserve oldest ecosystems, regenerative agriculture, ban high seas fishing), then reducing emissions like with energy and transportation
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
Have you ever participated in or organized an environmental clean-up? What was the outcome and how did it make you feel?
@9HH88N75mos5MO
It made me feel pretty good. I like helping people and it can be fun.
@9HH8BQYWomen’s Equality5mos5MO
Yes, and very disappointed because how dirty the community is
@9HH8BG35mos5MO
I have been involved with picking up trash around my town. It had a huge impact on how other people felt about the town and it looked so much better. It made me feel like a good person, people just throw trash everywhere and think it's okay but it is a huge problem.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How does your favorite outdoor activity lead you to feel connected with nature, and what role does that connection play in your life?
@9HFSZPQ5mos5MO
My favorite outdoor activity leads me to feel connected with nature by giving me a sense of happiness. The role the connection plays in my life is by having an opportunity to have fun.
@9HFSPY75mos5MO
I enjoy sitting outside to enjoy the breeze or at night to watch the owls and bats, it connects as i go outside a ot in general.
@9HFSJJ25mos5MO
Grow flowers, plants or vegetables, get a bird feeder and take in the sights and sounds around you. If planting isn't your thing, you can also connect to nature through stories, art and sound recordings. Watching films or TV program about nature are also great way to connect with and reflect on nature.
It is a reminder to enjoy what nature we currently still have. Climate change is irrevocably damaging nature, but using my favorite outdoor activity is a reminder to continue to fight for nature.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What kind of environmental legacy would you like to leave for future generations, and what steps do you think are needed to achieve it?
@9HD24G65mos5MO
As a country we should put forward an environmental legacy that focuses on our grandchildren’s grandchildren. The current usage of our environment is unsustainable and will create an uninhabitable planet for future generations.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How might embracing a minimalist lifestyle change the way you view consumerism and its impact on the planet?
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How would your daily life change if you tried to live in a way that caused the least harm to the environment?
@9H56RKH6mos6MO
it wouldn't affect me, it would actually be better for e because that means i could ride bike to work, its a 40 minutes ride which means I'm getting 80 minutes of exercise per day.
@9K22VPS3mos3MO
It would take research and change, but my health and well-being would be much improved. I love eating foods I grow and hope to have some land when I get a house so I can make a compost bin for a bigger garden
