You never had a full legal or moral right to pre-taxes income, because you did not create that, that was the reward from the market, the market created by the government, which can not exist without the government either. Anarcho-capitalism literally doesn’t exist, not at a national level such as this, it is merely a reduced government pseudo-laissez faire system, which we have PROVEN doesn’t work, hence the industrial revolution’s atrocities and lack of fair treatment and wages. You may think it’s possible to go without a government for a market, but without the government, a market fails to self-regulate due to the outside externalities of the world. It’s not feasible, taxation isn’t theft, nor does a “free-market” system (under the definition of 0 government interference) even exist.

I'm not an Anarcho-Capitalist, I still believe the state is a necessary abomination that we must have to provide a police, courts, and a military to secure our preexisting God-given rights. I never claimed I had a legal right to pre-taxes income, I am saying I have a NATURAL RIGHT to WHAT I HAVE EARNED BY THE SWEAT OF MY BROW WHICH IS CALLED PRIVATE PROPERTY. It wasn't granted by government, it was given to all human beings from the point of conception by God in all ages, and is a product of my humanity that government cannot regulate or abridge. Government is not above the law, NO ONE IS.

And yet you have considered taxation to be theft, which quite literally counters your own stated belief that you don’t have a right to pre-tax income, thereby denying your own recent claim. As to your claim about private property, it’s important to state what you believe private property IS whether it be personal property such as land, houses, or cars, or the Marxian definition of private property, often relating to land used to create economic value or a company/business built to create value.

Just because I know taxation is theft doesn't make me an anarchy-capitalist, I still would support indirect excises on whiskey, tobacco, etc, and tariffs to fund the limited functions of our theoretical night-watchman government.
@9CJ6CB65mos5MO
Wow, we have a LOT of debates on here so far. I imagine both of us have strong negative views for one another, so I can only hope that we both try not to hate this on a personal level as much as strong political disagreements with occasional outbursts.
@Patriot-#1776Constitution5mos5MO
I don't even know you personally, so I can't say what I think of you on a personal level, but I am determined to defend liberty when it's being badmouthed...
@9CJ6CB65mos5MO
So just to clarify, you have not stated that you have a right to pre-taxed income, yet claim taxation is theft?
@Patriot-#1776Constitution5mos5MO
No, what I have said is that you have a right to private property, which includes any and all money you happen to make, therefore DIRECT taxation (the income, capital gains, sales, property, estate, death tax) are all THEFT, but EXCISES on certain products such as whiskey and tobacco, and TARIFFS on enemy nations are far less offensive, as no one is forcing you to buy whiskey or tobacco or Chinese-made products. Therefore rather than being all-out theft, these indirect taxes would be the equivalent of minor fines on very specific products that you can avoid by not purchasing these products,… Read more
